History
MnAEYC has led several initiatives focused on early childhood education. The organization has provided high-quality professional development at an annual conference for years and assisted hundreds of programs to receive national accreditation. For several years MnAEYC partnered with the Minnesota School Age Care Alliance and created an accreditation program to ensure high quality in out-of-school time programs. As an affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, MnAEYC has promoted in Minnesota the mission and vision of the largest membership organization in the early childhood field.
