Rakhma Homes has compassionately cared for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-related dementias since 1984, making us the first residential model for memory care in Minnesota! Our rich history of loving care continues as a core value and is recognized as a best-practice in memory care today! We have memory care homes in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Golden Valley, and Minnetonka. Rakhma serves approximately 45 residents and families annually, and our services have touched the hearts of hundreds throughout the years.

Rakhma Homes is seeking board members with skills in the following areas:
- Financial Management
- Human Resources
- Strategic and Business Planning
We are interested in general business experience and skills in any field; personal experience with friends or family members with dementia is desired.
We do not have a set financial contribution request for board at this time, but at a minimum, they are striving for all to be considered a “major donor” ($500 or more annually). In-kind donations of time and materials are also important.
With regards to time spent annually, board meetings are held every other month and committee meetings held the other months; 2-3 special events per year make up about 3-4 hours per month.
