Board Boot Camp

Board members will participate in board meetings and other engagements with more confidence and more knowledge about their role after attending Propel Nonprofits’ Board Boot Camp.

  • Learn typical board responsibilities
  • Identify the nuances of board authority and relationships
  • Discuss how you would respond to specific board scenarios.

Participants take home the Board Boot Camp Participant Guide and Fiduciary Duties of Directors of Charitable Organizations. While this training is open to all, it is designed for those new to serving on a board or who are contemplating joining a board.

At Propel Nonprofits, Jenny supports boards of directors’ development and supports strategy development. She has a background in new business development and philanthropy. Previously, at Thrivent Financial’s strategic development department, Jennifer developed social enterprises resulting in two successful ventures, helping her gain an enterprise-perspective on what organizations need from leadership.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your space is guaranteed upon receipt of registration fee. Online payment is done by clicking the registration link associated with your selected training. Make checks payable to Propel Nonprofits. Checks must be received prior to event to complete registration and guarantee space.
