Board Boot Camp (Virtual)

Workshop

  • May 12, 2020
  • 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

In the face of an uncertain future, board members are more critical than ever in helping to chart a new path forward for their organizations. Board members will participate in board meetings and other engagements with more confidence and more knowledge about your role after attending Propel Nonprofits’ Board Boot Camp. You will learn typical board responsibilities and explore the nuances of board authority and relationships. We’ll cover the five responsibilities of board members, as well as explore the nuances of board authority and relationships.

We’ve modified our in-person Board Boot Camp slightly to take it to an interactive two-hour virtual format. Participants will receive a PDF of Propel’s Board Boot Camp workbook, which includes the Fiduciary Duties of Directors of Charitable Organizations. While this training is open to all, it is designed for those new to serving on a board or those who are contemplating joining a board.
