This fall, we’re bringing one of our most popular workshops to Little Falls, MN: Fundamentals of Nonprofit Finance. This workshop is designed to make you more comfortable with nonprofit finance. We’ll walk through real nonprofit examples and reports that will help you understand terminology, accounting rules, roles and responsibilities, and procedures and policies. This workshop is right for you if you are new to the nonprofit sector, nonprofit finance, or your position as staff or board member.

Dinner will be provided. Co-sponsored by Initiative Foundation, Propel Nonprofits, and Sourcewell.

About the Presenter

Phil Hatlie

Phil has spent most of his career in the Minnesota nonprofit sector. Although his degree is in liberal arts, he's spent 15 years directing the finances at nonprofits including the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, TC Habitat for Humanity, and HECUA. He's been with Propel Nonprofits for more than 10 years as a financial trainer and lender, working with nonprofits in areas ranging from education and social services to the arts to chemical dependency and community health.
