This workshop builds on the information learned in Fundamentals of Nonprofit Finance and Fundamentals of Budgeting to build powerful strategies using current financial indicators and measures. You will learn how to tell your financial story for greater mission success. After this training you will be able to relate financial statements to organizational financial condition, understand the basics of the nonprofit business model, and calculate financial indicators. Focus is on the practice of financial analysis, interpretation of financial information and communicating your financial story.

Phil Hatlie

Phil has spent most of his career in the Minnesota nonprofit sector. Although his degree is in liberal arts, he spent 15 years directing the finances at nonprofits including the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, TC Habitat for Humanity, and HECUA. He's been with Propel Nonprofits for more than 10 years as a financial trainer and lender, working with nonprofits in areas ranging from education and social services to the arts to chemical dependency and community health.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Your space is guaranteed upon receipt of registration fee. Online payment is done by clicking the registration link associated with your selected training. Make checks payable to Propel Nonprofits. Checks must be received prior to event to complete registration and guarantee space.
